*Necklaces are made within the 16” - 18” range I you would like a custom necklace made to a. specific length please reach out. Necklaces should not be worn in water or during exercise. If for any reason your necklace breaks it can be repaired so please save the stones/beads. A restringing fee can cost between $35 - $45.

Iolite is named after the Greek word "ios," meaning violet. The rich purple-y to blue hues of iolite earned this gemstone the nickname of water sapphire. Only officially named in 1912, iolite still was loved and valued by cultures throughout history. Iolite is sometimes referred to as the Viking's compass.
